‘This house symbolises your devotion and your love for Me. But above all, it symbolises the hope that we have that one day we’ll build this world into New Jerusalem. May God bless you all.’
Shri Mataji, Shudy Camps, UK, 13 July 1987

Dearest brothers and sisters of our global Sahaj family,

Jai Shri Mataji!

This ‘green and pleasant land’, this Albion of William Blake, this sacred land of Shri Sadashiva – where the Devi Herself resides as purity and chastity – this beating Heart of the Universe beckons all the children of the Great Mother to gather over the first weekend of June at Bloxham Barn Farm, the UK National Centre, to worship our most Beloved Mother in Her complete form as Shri Adi Shakti: the knower of all things, the omnipresent, the omnipotent.

The Sangha of the United Kingdom and all the twelve host nations humbly welcome our greater family to this blessed land with great anticipation and a heart full of love. In complete surrender, let us come together and rejoice. Let us wash Her Holy Lotus Feet; let us offer the five precious substances – the Amrut; let us worship Her with fragrant flowers and perfumed oils; let us adorn Her with precious silks and honour Her divine form with jewels and silver and gold. Let our heart sing and rejoice in Her infinite glory and may our cups overflow with Paramchaitanya: the divine nectar of bliss.

In this most auspicious year, the centenary of Her advent, let us inflame our desire for the salvation of humanity, for unity, for harmony and for peace on Earth. Now is the time, now is the hour to dispel the darkness of ignorance, to salute the new dawn of global awakening, and to establish the New Jerusalem.

O brothers and sisters, children of the One Mother, come! Let us gather as one and invoke the Primordial Power of God Almighty, the Supreme Goddess, the Divine Mother Shri Adi Shakti, Shri Nirmala Devi; and by Your grace, Shri Mataji, may You wholly be pleased.

With our deepest love and respect,

The hosting nations: Spain, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, UK & Ireland.

The UK National Centre

For some years, Shri Mataji advised the UK collective to find a National Centre surrounded by plenty of land so that the Shri Ganesha Tattwa of the country could be worked out. It should be in the central part of England and easily accessible.

Following the rejection of a number of possible venues, Bloxham Barn Farm received Mother’s blessings and was purchased on the auspicious date of 23rd February, 2007. It is nestled between Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon, Royal Leamington Spa and Banbury, while also being close to the banks of the rivers Cherwell, Leam and Avon.

The property consists of a farmhouse which is essentially Shri Mataji’s house, a large puja hall/barn, a large dining hall with kitchen, and many smaller rooms used for multiple purposes – sleeping dorms, bathrooms, a treatment room, a flower room and other small storage areas. It was originally an equestrian centre but has over the years undergone a great deal of collective work to make it the National Centre it now is.

‘The farm’ as it is affectionately called, has hosted countless national pujas and collective meditations, as well as other collective events such as Bella Vita, children’s camps, Yuva Shakti Seminars and treatment weekends.

The buildings are surrounded by 33 acres of arable and grazing land in the stunning Warwickshire countryside, with views of Edge Hill and Burton Dassett Country Park. There are currently 8 sheep, 10 chickens, a dog and cat!

“…if you are here to gain lots of ascending steps, you have to have your eyes upward and not downward. You must see what steps there are. You have to climb up those steps. With these steps where do you enter? I tell you, in that beautiful garden – the fragrant, garden of yourself, which is so beautiful.”

— Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, March 21st 2001
